We just celebrated our sons 3rd birthday. All the kids had a blast, but as his mother I couldn't help but feel sad. I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. When he was born he weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long, and now he is 27 lbs and 38 inches long. He is such a smart little guy and everything I could ask for in a son. He loves sports, camping, fishing and all that fun boys stuff. 
Then there is my princess pie, my beautiful baby girl Alexis. She has the bluest eyes to melt your heart and the brightest smile to brighten your day. She is starting to crawl. Today was the big day...she crawled for the first time. I almost cried. She is growing up so fast. It's just not fair.
My step daughter is a splitting image of her dad. Looks just like him and has many of his manners. Yet she is her own person in many ways. She is a very smart cookie. She just started Junior High this year. She comes over and tells me all the different things she's learning and about all the new friends she's making. She is a great big sister and a wonderful daughter.
All 3 of my kids make me who I am today. 5 years ago Kayla made me a mom when I married her dad. She accepted me and that was the best feeling. My dream of being a mom came true but even more so when I had Austin. I have a very strong emotional connection with him because I wanted him so much. My baby girl Alexis is my princess pie. Her smile is the first smile I see in the morning and the last smile I see at night. I quit my job so I could stay home and raise my kids. I knew from the start that's what I wanted. I love being a stay at home mom. I am blessed to have a husband who is suportive and understands why.

We lived in the same apartment complex, I walked by his apartment every day to and from work. One night he told me what he wanted in his life and that was me. From that moment we've been together ever since. We moved in together, got engaged a month later on 
Valentines day. We were married 7 months later. This year we are celebrating 5 wonderful years together. We knew from the begining we wanted to have kids, but I told him I wanted to be married first. I am so blessed to not only be married to a wonderful guy but to my best friend. HE COMPLETES ME!

As a family we love to go camping and fishing. But most of all we just loving being together and doing things together.
